When you do pet portraits - you run the full range of emotions and requests: sad ones of a lost pet; of an aging pet; happy ones of success stories of a rescue/of getting well; animals doing funny things; wearing funny things (socks due to allergies to grass); owners doing funny things (carrying their Basenji African style)- etc. My trademark "Elegant Cat" resulted in an owner bringing me a photo of an American Tabby with a request to turn it into her Siamese.

It worked for her and for me to have tee shirts, cards, silkscreens- even to have as my tattoo.
